چکیده

Biowaste valorization is a means for tackling resource depletion and climate change, which gives rise to environmental benefits economic growth. One of the most known technological routes convert biowaste into bioproducts pyrolysis, may conduct with without catalyst application. The purpose this study was investigate an early-stage life-cycle assessment (LCA) catalytic intermediate pyrolysis valorize rapeseed meal, split over scenarios using ZSM-5 zeolite Y catalysts. Four selected impact categories were assessed by IMPACT 2002+ methodology. results revealed that led bigger impacts than utilizing in all compared except global warming. scenario involved had around 20% GHG intensity greater pyrolysis. bulk emissions mostly CO2 methane generated from electricity consumption, provided fossil resources. Applying increased burdens non-renewable energy, respiratory inorganics, terrestrial ecotoxicity 140.88 MJ primary, 8.83 × 10−3 kg PM2.5 eq. 125.63 TEG soil, respectively. major driving factor high value mentioned manufacturing process natural gas chemicals, such as phosphorus trichloride, sodium hydroxide silicate. Given catalysts can play substantial role resulting bio-based products, hence LCAs should consider potential influence processes. This predict hotspots early stages bio-waste show defects implanted biorefinery at pilot/industrial scales.

Life-cycle assessment of flash pyrolysis of wood waste

This work analyzes a process known as flash pyrolysis, which produces bio fuels using biomass for power generation. A life-cycle assessment of flash pyrolysis of wood waste was conducted to study whether a flash pyrolysis plant set up locally would be environmentally friendly. The results obtained show that the process of flash pyrolysis of wood waste is in fact environmentally friendly, and th...

assessment of the efficiency of s.p.g.c refineries using network dea

data envelopment analysis (dea) is a powerful tool for measuring relative efficiency of organizational units referred to as decision making units (dmus). in most cases dmus have network structures with internal linking activities. traditional dea models, however, consider dmus as black boxes with no regard to their linking activities and therefore do not provide decision makers with the reasons...

comparison of catalytic activity of heteropoly compounds in the synthesis of bis(indolyl)alkanes.

heteropoly acids (hpa) and their salts have advantages as catalysts which make them both economically and environmentally attractive, strong br?nsted acidity, exhibiting fast reversible multi-electron redox transformations under rather mild conditions, very high solubility in polar solvents, fairly high thermal stability in the solid states, and efficient oxidizing ability, so that they are imp...
